Nichole is a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), public health professional, and health policy and legislation advocate. She serves as Founder, President, and Chief Advocate of Wayfinder Patient Advocates, LLC. Nichole graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, a minor in Biology, and undergraduate certifications in public management and bioethics. She completed post-graduate bioethics studies at Yale University and graduate public health leadership training at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Nichole is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Community Health from Baylor University and is passionate about patient-centered, participatory healthcare. Of the Patient Advocate Certification Board's (PACB) growing list of Board Certified Patient Advocates globally, Nichole is believed to be the youngest advocate to have achieved the prestigious credential to date.

Nichole is actively involved with the National Patient Advocate Foundation (NPAF), Patients Rising!, and the Alliance of Professional Health Advocates (APHA). She works to educate local and national government officials on patient-centered care by means of policy and legislation.

Misdiagnosed until the age of 12, Nichole has battled chronic pain and understands the weight and frustration of feeling like a by-stander in your own clinical care but not knowing where to turn to first. The mission is simple: provide clients the education, tools, resources, and support that they need to take back their power as a patient and find their voice in conversations about their health. How We Help

Navigating healthcare can be confusing enough, to begin with, but it can be that much more confusing when you are managing a new or changing health condition. Private patient advocates work alongside you and your team to help navigate your care and empower you to make the best decisions for YOU.  Because Wayfinder Patient Advocates work for you, they will be able to support as long or as briefly as you need, even after you leave the hospital. It's healthcare navigation on your terms!

Wayfinder Patient Advocates, LLC. provides private patient advocacy services and specializes in empowering patients while assisting them in the navigation of their healthcare through empathy.

We can assist in the transition between living arrangements, identifying the best ways to pay for care, provide information about the best usage of enrollment to clinical trials, etc. Each person's situation is different which means the type and amount of professional advocacy services may vary. We provide affordable, compassionate, and certified solutions to your healthcare needs.
